Michkin Boyzo

Founder

Michkin Boyzo is a Mexican entertainment lawyer, songwriter and music producer. His career combines entertainment law and intellectual property practice with songwriting, music production and orchestral work.

He studied Law at Universidad La Salle, after attending Colegio Cristóbal Colón. He also pursued studies in copyright and earned a certification from Berklee College of Music. He has practiced law in the private sector for 26 years, including work for the music production company Cosmos in Mexico. His practice includes reviewing and negotiating agreements for producers, songwriters, artists and entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry.

Among the companies and organizations he has worked with or whose agreements he has reviewed are Sony, Universal, Warner, Disney, Netflix, Televisa, TV Azteca, OneRPM and Symphonic, as well as the governments of Hidalgo, Coahuila, Jalisco and Mexico City, in areas related to culture.

As a songwriter, he has songs performed by RBD. He has also developed string and orchestral work on musical projects connected to “Recuérdame,” performed by La Quinta Estación and Marc Anthony, and “Yo no me doy por vencido,” by Luis Fonsi. His career includes projects with Ana Torroja, Gloria Trevi, Yuri, Paty Cantú, María José, Moenia and DLD.

He has also participated in the executive production of tracks by Nick Littlemore, songwriter, producer and member of Empire of the Sun. That work includes music intended for different artists and projects, including PNAU, Sadmonth and Everyone, including “Tu Corazón” by The Warning, “Find Nirvana” and “Chemistry” by PNAU.
